A post for 2010

This post goes in here this December, to avoid a funny looking archives section missing a ‘2010’ later on. A lot has happened over the last 1 year and 6 months.

I stayed a week in Dubai thanks to Dhwani-2009 and came back the morning of my models, straight into the exam hall where I found everyone staring into a paper of Medicine-2 that had turned up on a Medicine-1 day. Nothing I did could convince them I had anything to do with it.

I passed my Final Year Univs and became an Intern.

I gave CPCR to 13 patients, all of whom died.

June, I went to Groningen, Netherlands for a month to present my 3 year research on mental disorders among prisoners. I also participated in a research fellowship programme in Nephrology for a month. Before coming back I roamed through Eindhoven, Amsterdam, Antwerpen, Brussels, Paris, Rome, the Vatican and Berlin. For a very brief period of time, life was good.

I took the deliveries of 7 babies all by myself, reduced 4 dislocations and assisted 16 surgeries.

The band covered ‘Joker and the Thief’. We still can’t stand each other.

My best buddies from college have now left for home.

And now I’m taking a break to figure a lot of things out- Life, Career and everything along with it.

Confusion prevails.
